Stable Team

Rocco
Rocco is the manager of the pension and training stable and the contact person for your questions.
With over 30 years of experience in stable and riding management, he takes care of the horses and their individual needs, including, for example, the daily cleaning of boxes, feeding management and grazing. If a horse needs medical help, he will take care of the care professionally and will be at your side with help and advice.
Together with the veterinarian, he also successfully performs artificial inseminations and accompanies the pregnant mares during and after pregnancy and childbirth.
His specialty is training with young horses in riding, but also correction riding.
His riding style is western and he has the license of the Italian western trainer category 3 with whom he also gives riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders.
He himself has a lovely 6 year old QH stallion in the stable who happily greets all passing conspecifics, especially the mares, of course. Together they both enjoyed the Team Penning competitions which Rocco also organizes once a year in the summer with the Altavia team at the stables.
Lucky
As a mascot he guard the stable and sometimes helps Rocco with his work by keeping the horses moving in the Arena. He is always loyal and friendly, and his character makes him popular with visitors. He is happy about every caresses and accompanies the rides with Rocco. He is open-minded and fair towards conspecifics. His best friend is Milù, a cross breed dog from the trail horse riding holiday team, who visits him regularly. Together they experience untold adventures from time to time.

Members
Since the opening, the Altavia team has grown (together) more and more with old and new members.
It consists of employers, colleagues, friends, horse owners, horse lovers and other helpful people from near and far. Including some grill professionals and good organizers.
The atmosphere is informal and relaxed and everyone is always up for fun. We treat each other with respect and fairness.
Everyone is very welcome and should either bring a horse, wine, schnaps, bratwurst or just a good mood.
